Weather Outlook for 7/8

Widely scattered thunderstorms will develop across the mountains during early afternoon, and move east through the evening. Strong heating and abundant moisture will allow a few storms to become capable of producing damaging wind gusts of 60+ mph, as well as rainfall rates of 3+ inches per hour that may result in flash flooding, especially where storms pass repeatedly across the same locations. Confidence is low as to where any damaging winds or flash flooding may occur.
