Annual Paving Project

The Town of Christiansburg will begin its FY26 Annual Paving Project on Monday, July 6.
Work is scheduled to begin on Tomahawk Drive and Barkwood Street. Paving will then move to Justin Drive and South Franklin Street beginning Wednesday, July 15. Construction is expected to continue through approximately July 31, weather permitting.
Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures and brief traffic delays in work areas. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained, but temporary delays may occur during paving operations.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, follow posted signs and flagger instructions, and use alternate routes when possible.
