Juneteenth Holiday

Blacksburg: In observance of the Juneteenth Holiday on Friday, June 19, the Town of Blacksburg will be operating on the following schedule:

Town Offices
Town administrative offices will be closed.

Blacksburg Transit
Operating on Reduced Service in Blacksburg. BT Offices will be closed. Visit https://ridebt.org for more information.

Blacksburg Community Center
Operating during regular hours.

Blacksburg Aquatic Center
Operating during regular hours.

Trash and Recycling
Trash and Recycling collection will not be affected.

Christiansburg: Town of Christiansburg facilities, including the Aquatic Center, will be closed on Friday, June 19. The Recreation Center will be open regular hours with administrative offices closed.

Solid waste and recycling normally collected on Friday’s will be collected on Monday, June 22, along with Monday’s regular collection.
