By attending, supporters play a vital role in reducing pet overpopulation and ensuring more animals have the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives.

“We’re excited to bring our community together for a relaxed, fun evening that directly supports pets in need,” said Laurie Gibbons, Executive Director of Mission Delivery at Mountain View Humane. “Events like Whiskers, Wags, & Wine allow us to expand access to care and further our work to prevent pet overpopulation through spay and neuter.”

About Mountain View Humane Formed in 2010, the mission of Mountain View Humane (MVH) is to end pet overpopulation in southwest Virginia and southern West Virginia by providing affordable, high quality spay and neuter services to the general public, local municipal shelters, and rescue groups. We believe that an aggressive spay/neuter program is the only humane, sustainable solution to the overpopulation of dogs and cats. Since inception, Mountain View Humane has performed over 109,000 surgeries and has become a critical cornerstone in the animal welfare community that saves hundreds of lives every year of both companion animals and community pets. In addition to spay and neuter surgeries, MVH provides dental care one day per week, and wellness exams, vaccines, and preventatives two days per week. We also perform humane euthanasia providing compassionate, respectful end of life care for pets at an affordable price.
