Drone Service Hours to be Extended

From now until early October, Wing is launching a pilot in Christiansburg to extend delivery drone service hours. During the fall from sunset to 10 p.m., you may notice drones with green and red lights delivering packages to designated delivery zones.

Wing drones are equipped with camera sensors used primarily to assist with navigation and to help ensure the safety and reliability of our operations. There is no live feed of images to anyone, including our pilots-in-command supervising flights.

The FAA has approved all Wing flight operations, including this night flight pilot.
