Stump, Charlie William

Charlie William Stump, 78, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Junior and Irene Craighead Stump; his sister, Barbara Elmore; and his brother, Joey Stump.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Patsy L. Stump; daughter, Lisa Fulcher; son and daughter-in-law, Chad Stump (Rebekah); grandchildren and their spouses, Brandi Fulcher, Levi Fulcher, Caleb Stump (Sarah), Zachary Stump (Mariya), and Nathaniel Stump (Katie); 6 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Stump (Hope), Neal Stump, and Ronnie Stump (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Alice Stump; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the New Hope Church of God in Christiansburg. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor T. Michael Bond and Todd Deboard officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.
