Boyd, Roger Lee

Roger Lee Boyd, age 79, of Floyd, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2025. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. Roger was a carpenter doing construction for most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his sisters: Doris Cox, Marie Goad and Ardella Duncan; brothers: Glendon Boyd and Roy Boyd. Survived by his wife of 55 Years: Polly Trail Boyd; brother: Edward Boyd (Annie); several nieces and nephews; Special pets: Max and Missy.

Funeral services will be Friday July 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Agee and Pastor James Cockram officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery – Tuggles Gap. The family will receive friends one hour before service time on Friday.
