New Coordinator at Volunteer Montgomery

We are excited to welcome our new Volunteer Coordinator Fallon Bursey! Please see below for a message from Fallon. Hi! I am so excited to join the Volunteer Montgomery team, meet our wonderful volunteers, community members, and partners, and give back to our great community!

I have been passionate about volunteerism and non-profit organizations ever since I was little. I have been an active volunteer my whole life, participating in Martin Luther King Jr. Days of Service, Renew the New, food drives, and much more! I even started a volunteer/days of service program that I managed at my previous job! A little about my education and experience is that I graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. I have worked in marketing roles at Botetourt County Libraries, Pulaski River Turtles, Virginia Tech, and as a Lead Marketing Specialist at a local manufacturer.

Some fun facts about me are that yellow and pink are my favorite colors and I love reading, museums, art, hiking/camping/kayaking, and plants! Please feel free to stop by my office and chat! I look forward to meeting you, and can’t wait to dive into this exciting organization!
