Dublin celebrates remodeled Walmart

The Dublin community gathered this morning for the grand reopening of Walmart’s Supercenter at 5225 Alexander Road. The celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony before Associates welcomed customers into the newly renovated store.

“Our associates have been working hard to update the store, and we are excited to celebrate the completion of the remodel with the community,” said, Wendi Odum, Walmart store manager. “We have made improvements to several departments which will help our customers save time and make their shopping experience easy and seamless while still offering the variety of products and low prices they expect from us.”

The Supercenter’s transformation is designed to create a more modern and improved customer shopping experience. Newly elevated displays allow customers to interact with items and visualize how products could fit into their lives. A refreshed interior provides more space for customers to explore and discover everything the remodeled store has to offer.

Other features include:

· Expanded Grocery Pickup services, including additional parking stalls

· Refreshed Home department with eye-catching furniture displays

· Updated infant section, offering more shopping space while browsing products, such as strollers and baby monitoring devices

· Redesigned pharmacy with new private screening room

· Modernized, remodeled restrooms

· Private mother’s room for nursing mothers

· New signage for easier navigation shopping in store and using the Walmart App

Upgrades to the Dublin Supercenter are part of Walmart’s Signature Experience, which seeks to inspire customers and provide them with a seamless, high-quality shopping experience. New features include improved store layouts, expanded product selections and innovative technology, allowing Walmart associates to better support customers and make shopping more convenient and enjoyable.

In addition, Walmart customers can save time and money by shopping when, where, and how they want. The Covington store continues to offer the following innovations:

● Pickup – Walmart’s Pickup option has become a favorite among busy shoppers. It provides the convenience of online shopping and allows them to quickly collect their groceries without stepping out of their vehicles. The best part is that Walmart Grocery Pickup is completely free of charge. Furthermore, customers using SNAP in most states have the option to utilize the pickup service as well.

● Delivery – Walmart’s convenient delivery service is also a hit with customers. Both Pickup and delivery contact free.

● Walmart Pay – a touch-free way to pay.
