Rangeley, Jr., Fred Lee
Fred Lee Rangeley, Jr., 76, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was born May 25, 1947, in Montgomery County to the late Fred L. and Helen Hall Rangeley.
He was a life-long member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and had retired from Draper Aden. He was an avid Virginia Tech fan, but his passion was for cattle farming.
He is survived by his wife, Kay F. Pharis; stepson, Mark Vaughan and wife Kim; stepdaughter, Kristen Brookman and husband Tommy; step grandchildren, Briann, Tyler, Ethan, Haley, and Dustin; as well as many other family and friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to his very close friend and constant companion, Cam Carr, and to Hanna Vest for her dedication to him and his daily care. Also, a thank you to Heartland Home Health & Hospice for their assistance and continued support.
His wish was to be cremated and no services are to be held at this time.

Kay, we were saddened to read of Freddie’s passing. I ran into him often over the years and always enjoyed our visits. Thinking of you all! 🙏
