There’s an elephant in the living room that everyone knows about but no one wants to talk about or discuss because it makes some uncomfortable and may be personally, socially, or politically embarrassing.
Adults play the main role in mentoring children to create a legacy of human respect, decency, love, and indoctrinating them to the source of all moral authority –– which can be passed on from generation to generation. More policing, more gun control, more teenager curfews, more security cameras, more prisons, more crime legislation are not the most effective solutions, nor addresses the root causes.
