Price, Carolyn Grubb

Esther “Carolyn” Grubb Price, 84, of Blacksburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at home with her family. Carolyn was born November 08, 1939 to Jackson Odell and Esther Grubb.

She is survived by her loving husband Frank ‘Gene’ Price of 65 years; her daughter Marie Greene and husband Joe, Sharon Davis and husband Steven, son Guy Price and sister Lorraine Baker and husband Kyle. She was preceded in death by her father Jackson Odell Grubb, mother Esther Price Grubb and brother Ballard Odell Grubb. She had 6 grandchildren, Crystal Bond (Jerry), Quentin Davis (Samantha), Heather Price, Mary Price, Patrick Price and Ean Greene (Summer). 3 great grandchildren, Levi Davis, Rylan Bond and Aubrey Davis as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for the care and support they provided during her final days.

She will be cremated at McCoy Funeral Home and a Memorial Service will be planned in the near future.
