6/5: First Friday Bluegrass & Old Time Jam

The Newport Community Center presents the First Friday June Bluegrass & Old Time Jam Session on Friday, June 5, 2026. Bring your instruments and join us for a night of bluegrass and old time music in the cafeteria at the Newport Community Center.

Admission is free and all are welcome. This is a family friendly event.

Concessions will be available for purchase.

The Bluegrass & Old Time Jam Sessions are a bimonthly event that occurs on the first and third Fridays of each month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The Newport Community Center is located at 434 Blue Grass Trail (Route 42) in Newport, VA.
