$1,150,000 DOE Grant to NanoSonic
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded NanoSonic, Inc., located in Pembroke, Virginia, a $1,150,000 grant. These funds are directed to support a project developing hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
“Innovative and specialized small businesses are key contributors to scientific research and discovery. This grant for $1,150,000 helps NanoSonic develop hydrogen and fuel cell technologies to advance American energy security.”
BACKGROUND
The project supported by this grant is known as the Novel Anion Conducting Poly (Carbazole) Membrane for Water Electrolyzers.
The funds associated with this project are made available by the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
