Wrenn, Larry Steven

Larry Steven Wrenn, age 80, of Christiansburg, died, Monday, May 6, 2024, at his home. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Helms Wrenn; mother, Beatrice Wrenn; a sister, Sandra Loan; son, John Steven Wrenn; and stepson, Tim Huff.

Larry was a lifetime member of Montgomery County Moose Lodge and a longtime employee of the Town of Christiansburg. Larry was also very active with the Christiansburg Recreation Department as a coach, umpire, and referee for numerous years, influencing many children’s lives through sports.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Sartin; stepdaughter, Roxanna (Terry) Garrett; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Loan; brothers, Bill Wrenn and Jack Wrenn (Dee); sisters-in-law, Hilda Helms, Lelia Helms, and Vicki Helms; many nieces, nephews and special friends, Jerry and Delores Gilley.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 P.M. before the service, at McCoy Funeral Home.
