Wrapped in Love Blanket Drive
As winter settles in and temperatures drop, StepStone Family & Youth Services of Kentucky is encouraging the community to provide warmth and comfort to foster youth in need through its annual “Wrapped in Love” blanket drive. StepStone will be accepting donations of new and gently used blankets from January 31, 2024 through February 14, 2024, at locations across the state.
“Our children and youth need a safe place to call home. That’s why at StepStone Family & Youth Services, we’re committed to connecting foster children with safe, nurturing families,” said Ryan Rosewell, Executive Director at StepStone Family & Youth Services. “We encourage our community members to join us in donating blankets this winter season and wrapping our most vulnerable children in love and warmth.”
StepStone Family & Youth Services helps connect children in need with foster families who can provide comforting, nurturing homes. The organization provides foster care services, respite care, training for foster parents and youth residential services. StepStone is always looking for new foster families willing to open their hearts and homes to help children in Virginia communities who need safe, caring living environments.
StepStone Family & Youth Services has operations in nine states and is organizing blanket drives at all its locations this winter.
