Worrell, Peyton Trigg
Peyton Trigg (Leroy) Worrell of Christiansburg, Virginia went to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Peyton was born on December 08, 1950. He was 73 years old.
He was a long-time resident of Christiansburg. He worked for 40 years for the Town of Blacksburg.
He was preceded in death by his fiancé Thelma P. Cox; mother and father Elbert and Josie Worrell; brothers Troy “Buck” Worrell, and Curtis “Curt” Worrell; and sister Martha Hall.
He is survived by one sister Shirley (James) Brown; a very special niece, Tracy Worrell, nephews Anthony (Christy) Worrell and Jason Dowdy; nieces Dorothy Richeson, Angela Worrell, Amanda (Nelson) Price, Aleigha Tillman; and a very special fur baby Bella Rose.
Pall Bearers: Anthony Worrell, Randy Howard, Ricky Hamlin, Robert Tillman, Joshua Brammer, Daniel Stover, and Jacob Miller.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 01, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Jamey Hutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

I was Peytons neighbor for several years in Cburg he was such a kind person and loved to talk about Jesus we would discuss the Bible at length . May rest in peace with his Lord now
