Woolwine, Dorothy Epperly Edwards 4Dorothy Epperly Edwards Woolwine born July 21st, 1939, (84) of Christiansburg, Virginia. Went home to be with the Lord on February 15th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Elbert (Brady), Ruth Nunley, and Ricky Lee Epperly.

Reunited with first true love and soulmate, Gene C. Edwards, husband of 34 years, the father of their three adored daughters. True love stories never have an ending.

Left to cherish her memory, Saford (Wayne) Woolwine, devoted and loving husband of Christiansburg, Virginia. Their shared love and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ guided their marriage of the last 23 years where they enjoyed their days of traveling and exploring 48 states, Sunday drives, antiquing, and going to church. His care and love for her will never be forgotten.

Adored Daughters: Debbie Sue Edwards of Boones Mill, Virginia. Deneen Edwards (Pete) Webster of Christiansburg, Virginia. Jeannie Edwards (Jeff) Gibson, of Christiansburg, Virginia.

Her cherished grandchildren: Devin G. Scott, of Boones Mill, Virginia. Joshua A. Scott, of Boones Mill, Virginia. Alec J. Gibson of Christiansburg Virginia. Alexa Brooke (Dustin) Harmon, of Christiansburg Virginia. Her every Friday evening date (Little one), cookie sharing, storytime, and the best dance partner Weston J. Harmon. Four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Memories we all share, she was a pillar of strength, her words of wisdom, unconditional love, tears to laughter, and most of all her prayers will remain in our thoughts forever. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.

Dorothy was a member of Ellett Valley P.H. Church. She loved the Lord and her church family with all her heart. A special Thank you to Pastor Steve and Marilou Akers for their love, devotion and kindness to our entire family.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Horne Funeral Home Monday, February 19th at 4:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 6:00pm in the Chapel with Pastor Steve and Marilou Akers officiating. On Tuesday the family will have a private burial at Saint Matthews Cemetery in Pilot Virginia.
