Wilson, Adam Jason

Wilson, Adam Jason 4Adam Jason Wilson of Blacksburg, VA, was taken from this world far too soon on July 24, 2022, as the result of an automobile crash.

Adam is survived by his wife and favorite person Amanda “Mandy” J. Wilson; parents John and Diane Wilson; three brothers, David (Lisa), Matthew (Danelle), and Kevin; five nieces and nephews; in-laws Cliff and Jo Moser; brother-in-law Brent Moser; and numerous members of a large extended family. Adam has many dear friends who are also mourning this tremendous loss.

For years he was a staple of downtown Blacksburg where he was a bartender. Since completing his education several years ago, he was employed as a Survey Technician at a local civil engineering firm where he quickly became an invaluable member of the survey team, both in the field and in the office.

Adam was extremely talented and enjoyed many artistic endeavors (drawing, painting, woodworking). He loved being outdoors, hiking, and playing backyard bocce with Mandy and his best dog friend, Lola. He had a love for a diverse and wide range of music and there are many who have him to thank for an introduction to a new artist.

A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. in Mary’s Barn at Mountain Lake, Pembroke, Virginia.

His final arrangements were handled by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.

In lieu of flowers, Mandy suggests that memorial contributions be made to a local animal humane society. Additionally, a memorial fund has been set up in his honor.
