Whittaker, Donald Lee

Donald Lee Whittaker, age 62, of Newport, died on Monday, January 22, 2024, at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Whittaker, Jr., and his infant sister, Debbie Whittaker.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pamela Jean Whittaker; son, Randy Whittaker and girlfriend, Cassie Miller; grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon, and Oaklee Whittaker; mother, Shirley Ann Whittaker; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Wanda Whittaker, and Michael and Teresa Whittaker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Steve and Lou Akers officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home.
