Veterans Day Events, Closures & Trash Pickup
BLACKSBURG
Town of Blacksburg administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day.
Blacksburg Transit routes, Community Center, Aquatic Center and Refuse/Recycling collection will run on their normal schedules.

CHRISTIANSBURG
Christiansburg High School will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Parade at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. Main St. will be closed starting at 8:45 a.m. on Monday and parking will be prohibited after 6 a.m. on Nov. 11. Traffic on Main St. will resume by 1 p.m. Monday. A map of the parade and detour routes will be posted closer to the event.

The Aquatic Center will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., but administrative offices will be closed.
The Recreation Center will be open regular hours, but administrative offices will be closed.
Town Hall will be closed. It will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 8 a.m.
Solid waste normally collected on Mondays will be collected on Tuesday, Nov. 12, with Tuesday’s regular collection.

DUBLIN
Dublin Town Offices will be closed Monday, November 11th. Garbage scheduled for pick-up on Monday, November 11th will be picked up on Tuesday, November 12th along with Tuesday’s regular pick-up.
The PSA and all three dropsites will be closed Monday, November 11th for Veterans Day. There will be garbage collection. Have garbage out by 7:00 a.m.

PULASKI
Town offices will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day. Thank you to all of our military members, both current and former.

RADFORD
City Offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
Monday, November 11: Garbage Collected on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. *Please have garbage available for collection by 7:30 a.m.
Drop Center Hours: Monday, November 11: Closed

GILES COUNTY
The Narrows Town Office will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, November 12th at 9:00 a.m.
