The AWARE Foundation Gives Back to Area Police 4Each year the AWARE Foundation donates tickets to the local police departments to enjoy a game. This year all that changed. We had a long-time season ticket holder, Paul Davis, donate 50 tickets and a Salem Red Sox business partner donated another 250 tickets for our police and their families to attend a game on August 28th. We now have well over 300 police officers and their families coming out that night because of those generous donations.

In addition to the donations, thanks to Steven Elovich and Allen Lawrence, the Salem Red Sox helped us by giving us a reduction in price for tickets sold in increments of 10. Thus far 16 police departments including the Virginia State Police are receiving free tickets. We have delivered over 400 tickets so far, and people continue to donate.
