Smith, Kenneth Leon

Kenneth Leon Smith, age 88, of Blacksburg, died Friday, April 26, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1936, to the late Charles and Bertie Smith. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ellen Marie Rupe.

He is survived by his daughter, Lesa Smith and her husband Rodney; son, Kenneth Howard Smith, daughter, Emily Taylor, and two special “adopted” daughters, Courtney Hawks and Deidra Webb; grandchildren, Sherri, Nikki, Jennifer, Angel, Robert, Patrick, Dylan, Colton, Trevor, and Dixie; 7 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, sisters, Mavis and Thelma; special sister-in-law, Bonnie Potter, and numerous nieces and nephews, too many to count.

He was loved by all, and he returned that love with an unending abundance. There will be no services at his request.
