Simpkins, Bentley S.

Bentley S. Simpkins, age 68, of Christiansburg died, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Radford, Va., on November 23, 1956, to the late Milton Gray and Mildred Harmon Simpkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Simpkins, and brothers, Milton and Ricky Simpkins.

Bentley loved being a member of the Auburn Baptist Church family. He had a love of building and contracting and did so until he was no longer able.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and April Simpkins, daughters and son-in-law, Kellie and Keith Simpkins, Melissa Bolling; grandchildren, Cole, Cayden, Elijah, Isaac, Dani, Brandon (Jennifer), Alicia, Cam and Zaine; great-grandchildren, Aleah, Hunter, Anna, Ali, Alivia, and Addy; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Curtis Kast, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Auburn Baptist Church with the Rev. Shake Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm prior to the service.
