Montgomery County Supervisor and candidate for the 7th District House of Delegates, Sherri Blevins, has officially filed paperwork and her filing fee to seek the Republican nomination.
“Today at noon, I turned in my paperwork to the Legislative District Committee Chairman, and I will be on the ballot for the April 24th Firehouse Primary. We are excited to meet with Republican activists, leaders, and voters all across the 7th District,” said Supervisor Blevins
The 7th District of the House of Delegates contains all of the County of Floyd and parts of Pulaski and Montgomery County. The Republican Party will nominate its candidate in a Firehouse Primary on April 24th from 9 AM to 1 PM at three different polling locations around the district.
“I want to encourage voters in Floyd, Montgomery, and Pulaski to visit my website SherriBlevins.com to find information on voting locations and to reach out with any questions about my campaign. Our campaign is excited to talk about my experience and values and how I can best represent the constituents of the 7th District in Richmond,” said Blevins. “I am going to be a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, pro-life policies, low taxes, and law enforcement in Richmond.”

Sherri is currently seeking the Republican nomination for the 7th District House of Delegates seat after the announcement of the retirement by current Delegate Nick Rush.
