Kimberly passioned her loving Lord and Savior. She prayed often and enjoyed watching religious programs on television. She was a homemaker, lovingly known as “Mama Kim” to many. She would do anything and everything for her family. She had the ability to always put a smile on your face and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Her love and compassion for others shined, not only as a well-respected and known nurse in the medical field, but as a wonderful friend to others and a wonderful mother to her two daughters.
She loved music and playing the piano. She was an artist who painted many beautiful pictures. She enjoyed writing poetry.
Her happy place was the beach and she was a coffee lover. She loved to garden, especially flowers. She loved to cook, especially during the holidays. She would take in veterans to enjoy her holiday dinners when they had no where else to go.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Elwood Shelor, Sr., and her brother, Alvin Elwood Shelor, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Patricia Lewey Shelor; her daughters & son-in-law, Rebecca Ann Hare and Ashley Elizabeth & Tyler Vest; her sister & brother-in-law, Teresa & Kenneth Smith; and several friends and neighbors.

The Shelor-Hare family, I am sad to hear about the passing of Kim. We went to school together many years ago, but lost touch somewhere along the way. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless, Barbara
