Sevy, Ray Lee
Ray Lee Sevy, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. He was born June 5, 1962, in Hinton, WV. Ray enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was always tinkering with many different things.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Sevy. Survivors include four brothers, Robert Sevy of Pulaski, VA, Donald Sevy of Ronceverte, WV, Darrell Sevy and wife Rhonda of Narrows, VA, and Anthony Sevy of Ballard, WV; two sisters, Rebecca Sevy and fiancé Rocky Allen of Union, WV, and Connie Dickens of Beckley, WV. Also surviving are his stepchildren, Travis and Karen; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Pete Dunford officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
