Registration is now open for the 2019 Senior Citizens’ Police Academy. The academy, which will be held July 15-19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., is free and open to any citizen 50 years and older.

Lunch will be provided each day. The program is sponsored by the Christiansburg Police Department, Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department and Christiansburg/Montgomery Triad S.A.L.T. Council.

Applications can be picked up at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. If you would like to have an application mailed or emailed to you or for more information, please contact Tammy Caldwell at (540) 382-2349, ext. 2003 or email: tcaldwell@christiansburg.org.

All applications are subject for review and approval. Participants will undergo a background check. Please submit an application by July 8.
