Scam Alert: September 19

Today, the Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department was made aware of a fraudulent message being circulated on the ‘Everything Blacksburg’ Facebook group, regarding a ‘fall festival to be held at the Blacksburg Community Center’ and asking individuals to submit payment to be a vendor.

Parks and Recreation staff has confirmed that there is no such event scheduled and that the post is a scam.
