Road Closures for Atmos Gas Work

Please be advised that Atmos Gas will be conducting system upgrades along N. Franklin Street for the next three months. As part of these upgrades, a section of Water Street will be temporarily closed at the intersection of N. Franklin Street to facilitate the replacement of an existing pressure reducing station. The closure is anticipated to remain in effect for approximately 2 weeks.

Furthermore, a portion of Church Street will be closed near the intersection of N. Franklin Street to facilitate the installation of a new gas line beneath Crab Creek and the railroad. This closure is expected to last approximately 8 weeks. Detour routes will be implemented to guide motorists around the affected areas during this period.
