Radford Theatre offers Popcorn to Go
In over five years of service to the NRV, your Downtown Radford Theatre has only had to close twice: once due to a power outage and one due to an ice storm. As concerns over the health of our families and neighbors grow, we have made the difficult decision to remain closed while the advisories about meeting in public spaces is lifted.
We know that this social distancing can be difficult and that we are all in need of a good distraction. Whether that be a good book, a good movie, or even just a productive day with the kids, we’d like to help out, should a snack situation arise.
Starting this Friday, we will be offering “Popcorn to Go,” a curbside service available 7-8 pm every Friday. Simply navigate to our “Contact Us” tab on our website, www.radfordtheatre.com, and tell us what size, how many, and whether or not you’d like to add butter for your popcorn order. We can take your payment at the register in the box office and send you on your way! Anything from our concessions stand will also be available, including fountain Coke products, nachos, and candy!
We also would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our friends and neighbors, for keeping the Radford Theatre alive all these years. We remain the longest continuously running single screen movie theatre in the state, and we ABSOLUTELY could not do it without you.
We genuinely look forward to the day we can reopen and continue to bring the gift of entertainment (and public socializing) back to the NRV!
