Radford Announces New CFO
The City of Radford is pleased to announce the appointment of Trish Cox, CPA, as the City’s new Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The addition of the CFO title reflects a recent restructuring of the Finance Department designed to strengthen the City’s financial management, strategic planning, and fiscal transparency.

Her extensive career also includes roles with New River Valley Community Services, New River Community Action, and a prior tenure with the City of Radford from 2007 to 2018. Cox is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson University.
“We are thrilled to welcome Trish back to Radford,” said Todd Meredith, City Manager. “Her proven expertise, deep community roots, and commitment to excellence in public service will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our financial operations and serve our citizens with transparency and accountability.”

I think I can safely say our City Council is united in support of Todd in his effort to bring Trish on board and to help move Radford forward in new ways. Better days are coming soon.”
