Puckett, Sr., Larry Wayne
Larry Wayne Puckett, Sr., age 74 of Christiansburg died Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was born in Cleveland, VA. on September 12, 1951, to the late John Thomas and Mary Musick Puckett.
Larry was a man whose life was defined by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering desire to help others. He had a natural gift for making people feel seen, valued, and supported, and he gave his time and heart freely to anyone in need. Helping others was never an obligation for Larry—it was simply who he was.
Those who knew Larry will remember his warmth, his compassion, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. He had a way of bringing people together and leaving every place a little better than he found it. Whether through a helping hand, a listening ear, or a kind word at just the right moment, Larry made a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Larry was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought joy, and his generosity left a mark that will not fade. While his absence is deeply felt, his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the love he shared so freely.
Larry will be remembered not only for what he did, but for who he was—a truly good man whose life was a gift to others. His memory will continue to inspire kindness, compassion, and service in the hearts of those who loved him.
