Price, Frank Eugene

Frank Eugene ‘Gene’ Price of Blacksburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Gene was born on October 21, 1935, to Guy Lewis Price and Anna Mae Slusser Price.

He is survived by his daughters Marie Greene and husband Joe, Sharon Davis and husband Steven, son Guy Price, sister-in-law Janice Price (Jack) and Barbara Price (Glen). He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Grubb Price of 65 years, father Guy Lewis Price, mother Anna Mae Slusser Price, brothers Jack Price and Glen Price. He had 6 grandchildren, Crystal Bond (Jerry), Quentin Davis (Samantha), Heather Price, Mary Price, Patrick Price and Ean Greene (Summer). 3 great-grandchildren, Levi Davis, Rylan Bond and Aubrey Davis as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank Chippenham Hospital for the care they provided during his final days.

The viewing for Gene and Memorial for Carolyn will be held at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg. VA on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 4 pm to 6 pm. A graveside service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA on April 26, 2024, at 1:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Neal Turner. Procession will form at McCoy Funeral Home at noon.
