Possession of Child Pornography Charged

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025 officers with the Blacksburg Police Department arrested 21 year old, Nirish Chilakala. Chilakala was arrested after a search warrant was served at a residence in the 600 block of Broce Drive pursuant to an ongoing investigation.

Chilakala is charged with one hundred counts of violating § 18.2-374.1:1 Code of Virginia, “Possession of Child Pornography”. Chilakala has been released from custody on a $10,000 secured bond.
