Polson, Karl Oscar

Karl Oscar Polson, age 75 of Pulaski, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Massachusetts on August 8, 1943, and was the son of the late Marguerite Elvira Olson Polson, and Erik Oscar Polson. He was a retired teacher of Agriculture at Pulaski County High School.

He is survived by his lovely wife, Shelby J. Polson; two sons; Richard Polson (Beth) of High Point, NC, and John Polson of Wake, VA; two step-sons; John Booth (Delia), and Mark Booth (Tammy); step-daughter; Patricia Grimmett (Less): two brothers; Herb Polson of Plymouth Massachusetts, and Erik Polson of Chelsea, VT: Five grandchildren; Taylor, Emily, Whitney, Madelyn, and Carter. He is also survived by his precious rescue dogs Happy and Stormy.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church 4008 Robinson Tract Road, Pulaski, with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Western Blue Ridge Baptist Network P.O.
