Police Presence in Blacksburg Due to Vehicle Pursuit

Blacksburg Police Department has cleared the scene from today’s vehicle pursuit. One person has been taken into custody. Many helpful tips were received, allowing for the location and arrest of the suspect. Thank you!

Blacksburg Police are in pursuit of a dark colored Volkswagen Passat with tinted windows and Florida tags. It is unclear at this time if the individual is still driving the vehicle or on foot. Call 911 if you see anything concerning.

There’s a large police presence around the Clay Street and Graves Avenue area following a vehicle pursuit coming from Christiansburg. Police are in search of the driver.
