Play for Purpose Program

Freedom First is partnering with K92 Radio to find six local high schools to team up with for the Fall football season. Students, parents, teachers, and the public can nominate their favorite local high school in the Roanoke Valley, New River Valley, or Lynchburg region by visiting K92Radio.com and clicking on Play for Purpose.

A winning school will be announced on-air each week starting August 26th. The crew from K92 will head to that school’s Friday night football game and every first down that team earns means Freedom First will donate $100 to a school club or team chosen by the school. We’ll be donating a minimum of $2,000 to each school.

Through our Play for Purpose Program, Freedom First has donated over $100,000 to impactful, local non-profits in our community and now, we’re excited to make an impact with high schools in the communities we serve.
