Perdue, Bobby Wayne
Bobby Wayne Perdue, 75, of Narrows left this world on January 19, 2024, at his home. Born in Giles County on June 7, 1948, he was a son of the late James and Glenna Blankenship Perdue.
He loved God and his family. He was a member of the Christian faith. Bobby was an avid hunter, spending every hunting season with his sons at their cabin up Wolf Creek.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Perdue and Freddie Riddle.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Brookman Perdue, of 54 years; God blessed them with three children: one daughter, and two sons, Adam Perdue (wife, Sherree) and Aaron Perdue (Sue Perkins); one brother, William “Junebug” Riddle; his beloved Basset Hound, Emma Ruth; three grandchildren: Cory Perdue, Meagan Earles, and Brooklyn Perdue; and two great-grandchildren: Avery Perdue and Evie Earles.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Perdue Family Cemetery in Narrows, Virginia, on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Dan Nichols officiating. His brother-in-law, Ronnie Brookman (Martha); nephew, Michael Perdue (Teresa); and special family, Logan Perkins and Camron Perkins, will all serve as pallbearers. Sorry to hear about Bobby he was a good man and a hard worker he was always nice to me never heard anybody say a bad thing about him.
