Pendrey III, John Willis

John Willis Pendrey, III, 86, of Floyd, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Pendrey; children, Wayne Pendrey, John W. Pendrey, IV, Tracey Pendrey DeCowsky, and Charles Pendrey; sisters-in-law, Shirley Pargiello, and Faye Randall (Rick); nieces, Heather Matthews, and Shannon Fortenberry; nephews, Robert Knight, and John Knight; and many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial/Interment services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084, with Pastor Rick Randall officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Floyd VFW Post # 7854/American Legion Post # 127, 186 Epperly Mill Rd SW, Floyd, VA, 24091.

The Celebration of Life will be a time of music, memories, a potluck meal and fellowship. Bring your musical instruments and share music and memories of Skip with friends and family.
