Neff, Danny Lee

Danny Lee Neff, age 79 of Christiansburg, died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Heritage Hall in Blacksburg. He was born in Virginia on January 13, 1947, to the late Beryl and Ethel Neff. Danny, A.K.A “White Rabbit,” was a truck driver for Shah and an operator for Shelor Motor Mile.

He is preceded in death by a son, Kevin Neff, and siblings, Sharon McMillan, Beryl Glenwood Neff II, and Phillip Neff.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Neff; children, Doug Neff, DJ Neff (Krystal), and Lisa Rourke (Jim); grandchildren, Anthony Johnson, Amanda Tapia (Frankie), Logan Neff, Faith Neff, Quinten Neff, Emmett Neff, and Tara Miller; great-grandchildren, Jonah Miller, Jensen Miller, Grace Miller, Aiden Lee Johnson, Aryanna Johnson, Maddie Tapia; sister, Karen Neff; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro, Va. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.
