The Petco Foundation, through their Intake Diversion grant program, has awarded Mountain View Humane with a $3,000 grant to reduce the cost of spay/neuter fees for pets in the New River Valley. In this challenging financial time due to COVID-19, this generous grant will enable us to better serve the community by making affordable spay/neuter surgeries available regardless of a person’s ability to pay.

This subsidy will reduce the price of dog spay/neuter surgeries by $50. Those interested in taking advantage of the Petco Spay/Neuter subsidy are required to complete a financial aid application on our website, www.mvhclinic.org,and provide proof of income.

Mountain View Humane is a community resource that provides high-quality, affordable spay/neuter services in southwestern Virginia at our Waldron-Ricci Spay Neuter Clinic and through free transport programs across the region. We believe people will make good decisions for animals when they are treated with kindness and understanding, and when they have enough information and resources. We have performed over 74,000 surgeries on public, shelter and rescue animals.
