Moss, Janie Elmira

Janie Elmira Moss of Chuluota Florida, formerly of Blacksburg, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. She was 94 at the time of her death. Janie was born in Goodwins Ferry, Virginia on July 26, 1931.

She married Herbert Moss of Fries Virgina January 26, 1952. She retired from Lockheed Martin in Florida as an Executive Secretary. Janie retired a second time from Visit Orlando Convention Center. She was a member of the Church Of God Of Prophecy and Northland Church in Florida.

Janie is survived by her daughters: Jill Eiserman and Jena Clark; Son-in-laws: Les Eiserman and Dan Clark; Grandchildren: Jordan Eiserman, Lexi Collins, Morgan Clark, Taylor Clark and Hunter Clark; Great Grandchildren: Jocelyn Freeman and Noah Eiserman; Sisters: Brenda Shaver and Jeannie Davis.

Services will be conducted to honor her life Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Gary McCoy will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg.
