More backpacks needed for Stuff the Bus

We need 100 more backpacks for the United Way NRV Stuff the Bus program by Wednesday! We have enough supplies, but not enough backpacks.

Thank you for supporting Stuff the Bus! All backpacks and supplies will be distributed to children in need in the New River Valley.
Last year, the United Way Stuff the Bus campaign saw widespread support from our community and served 583 local low-income children with backpacks brimming with school supplies. In Floyd County, 143 backpacks were distributed. In Radford City, 207 backpacks were distributed. In Montgomery County, 233 backpacks were distributed. Local businesses collected donations and served as convenient drop-off locations across the New River Valley, while residents donated supplies and helped stuff buses during the Stuff the Bus event at the United Way of the New River Valley office.
