Moore, Rita Wojciechowski

Rita Carol Wojciechowski Moore, age 80, of Blacksburg, died, Monday, February 3, 2025, at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 30, 1945, to the late John and Genevieve Kajkowski Wojciechowski. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ernest Moore and brother, Leon Wojciechowski. She was a hairstylist in Blacksburg for many years.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Charlese Rita Moore, Rhonda Jean and Charles Dyba; son and daughter-in-law, Lenny Charles and Crystal B. Moore; grandchildren, Chasidy Montgomery (Billy), Tyler Lawson, Trevor Lawson, Logan Lawson, Dylan Moore, Megan Moore; great-grandchildren, Oaklyn Lawson, River Montgomery, Aspyn Lawson; brother, Fred Wojciechowski; her beloved pet, Mandolin.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Chandler Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM prior to the service.
