After God, she put family first and made it her ambition to take a yearly family vacation, by raising money with regular yard sales, which gave her the opportunity to talk to all her neighbors and friends and share in their lives. She was a lifelong member of the Elkhorn United Methodist Church, where she served as a member of the choir, a MYF teacher and various other duties. She was a favored member of her friends’ groups, always with a welcoming spirit, a warm heart, understanding and a life full of laughter. She never met a stranger and never left without a hug and a kind word. She will be greatly missed, leaving a hole in her family’s hearts, minds and souls, until they are united again in God’s glorious Kingdom.

Her daughters would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation for the friends that supported their mother and allowed her to live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
