Meadows, Gerald Stephen

Gerald Meadows, 74, of Peterstown, passed away February 25, 2025, in a Richmond hospital, following a sudden illness. Born in Bellepoint, WV, to Rosby and Hazel Barton Meadows, and raised in Buck, Summers County. Gerald was drafted into the US Army in 1970 and served two years. He moved to Peterstown in 1973 after marrying Linda Davis. He worked at various jobs throughout the years, with the most years of service at Commonwealth Bolt in Rich Creek, VA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Davis Meadows; daughter, Tina Belcher and husband Scott; his grandchildren that he loved more than life: Jacob Belcher, and wife Kasey; Steven Belcher, and fiancé Katelyn Martin, and Kellie Belcher. Also, his Great Grandchildren that lit up his life: Troy and Kinsley.

Gerald was preceded in death by his siblings: James, Jennings, Bobby, John, Janice and Joyce. He is survived by a brother, Donnie Meadows, and wife Margaret. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and a very special nephew, Robbie Atwell whom he thought of as a son, and wife Vanessa.

Graveside service will be held Sunday at 3:00PM at Peterstown Cemetery with Pastor Pete Dunford officiating. Family and friends can visit from 2:00 until time of service at the cemetery.
