McFaden, Cecilia Davidson

Cecilia Ann Davidson McFaden, age 68 of Pulaski, Virginia, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Cecilia was born on July 26, 1957 in Radford, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Jo Ann F. Davidson and the late Cecil L. Davidson.

Survivors include her son Kenton D. McFaden, her sister Kim D. Blevins (Kenny), and cat Luna and dog Ellie Mae.

Cecilia Ann graduated from Radford University and earned her Master’s degree in Business from there also.

Cecilia Ann was a career educator in North Hampton County Schools and Giles High School. She was an English and Photo Journalism instructor. She was president of the Giles Education Association and active in state and national educational associations.

Cecilia Ann enjoyed all types of music and traveled extensively. One of her favorite destinations was New Orleans.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5 at Seagle Funeral Home with Reverend Roland Matthews officiating. Interment will follow privately in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm before the funeral.
