Mann, Linda Wall

Linda Carol Wall Mann, age 77, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born May 14, 1947, in Giles County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Phlegar Penkey and Thelma Irene Conley Wall.

Linda was a member of the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lindside, WV. She worked as a Dietary Aide at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg for many years. She loved to crochet and quilt. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Mann; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include one son, Michael Mann and wife Tammy of Peterstown, WV; one daughter, Kimberly Meadows and Gary White of Peterstown, WV; one brother, Richard Wall of Narrows, VA; three sisters, Mary Walker of Salem, VA, Louise Stowers of Clear Fork, WV, and Jean Ferguson of Narrows, VA; three grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, and Joshua Meadows; special friend, Michelle Vass; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
