Machincia, Nancy Blevins
Nancy Elizabeth Machincia, age 70, of Christiansburg, died, Monday, November 18, 2024, at her home. She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on August 30, 1954, to the late Ray and Velvie Rose Blevins. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Machincia, III, and a brother David Lewis Blevins.
She taught 10 years in McDowell County, West Virginia and 32 at Christiansburg Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Machincia, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Trinity Heckman; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Carrie Machincia; grandchildren, Zander Heckman, Hannah and Mason Machincia, and Daniel Roberts; several nieces and nephews, sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Gary Wilson; and sister-in-law, Wanda Blevins.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, November 25, 2024, at 6:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Rose officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W., Blacksburg, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
